Lisa is a registered psychologist with a strong counselling background as well of years of experience working with a range of clients who present with diverse issues across their lifespan. She enthusiastically creates a nurturing, supportive, therapeutic environment for each session, supported by knowledge and experience and accompanied by a sense of humour and dollops of common sense. Her focus is on using each client’s own strengths, know-how, intuition, and life experience to bring about refreshed insights and effective change. She particularly enjoys working with family dynamics, mindful parenting, young adults’ perspective, men’s mental health, creating harmony in relationships, and managing the impact of life transitions. She continually updates her counselling skills and is always open to learning from clients too. She also has a teaching and training background that brings a beneficial form and structure to the sessions. Mark helps clients build healthy self-esteem and relationships, reduce anxiety and emotional pain and make better decisions. Mark has master’s degrees in Psychology and Addictive Behaviours. Before becoming a psychologist, Mark worked in the software industry, building a company he took to the USA, which hatched his interest in mental health and left him well versed in the challenges and stressors of life and business. Marks draws from a range of therapeutic approaches to suit a client’s needs, including Mindfulness, Cognitive and Psychodynamic therapies, including ISTDP.

I am a registered student counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and a Clinical Nutritionist with ANTA. My passion lies in supporting individuals experiencing disordered eating, anxiety, depression and stress, helping them find harmony and balance in their lives. With experience in mood disorders, body dysmorphia, relationship challenges and low self-esteem, I aim to create a therapeutic environment that is warm, inviting, and non-judgmental.

As a former yoga teacher and longterm meditator, Brigid is also particularly interested in using mindfulness based approaches to deepen awareness of the mind, while strengthening self-compassion and acceptance. Based on Stephen's personal experience and his natural predisposition to provide compassion and guidance to people in need, he was encouraged by friends and family to establish his own practice. After completing an AOD Certificate IV, he went on to pursue a Masters in Psychotherapy & Counselling at Jansen Newman Institute. Stephen's approach is based on his own family’s experience with disease and mental illness. This gives him critical insight into his client’s suffering. Every client is an individual, and the therapy must be tailored to suit their specific needs. His primary focus is on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy.
