FAQ
Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a man's inability to have or keep an erection firm enough for satisfactory sexual intercourse. In many cases ED can lead to stress, and low self-confidence and most importantly can also be a sign of an underlying medical condition or a psychological condition.
There are a range of treatments for ED, including medications, penile vacuum pumps, other medications and erection restoring surgery. Medication generally viewed as 'first line of therapy' for erectile dysfunction depending on your personal circumstances and preferences and these are effective for many men. Mosh health practitioners can discuss other treatment options with you and recommend / refer you to other specialists to help with the second and third-line treatments, including erection restoration with surgery.
It all starts when you chat to your health practitioner online. Your health practitioner needs to know about your health (like your medications, lifestyle issues, any prior surgery and medical conditions) and how exactly ED affects you. They’ll then review everything, determine if you’re a candidate for telemedicine and craft a personalised treatment plan just for you, guided by your background medical information.
The pharmacy will dispatch the treatment discreetly to your address within 3 to 5 working days after speaking with the health practitioner. Alternatively, if you choose your own pharmacy you can select when you pick this up in person.
Yes, in most cases erectile dysfunction can be diagnosed by a health practitioner based on you self reporting your symptoms and providing detailed info about your medical history. It might surprise you, but ED can be diagnosed by a practitioner without actually examining you. Our health practitioners ask questions to evaluate your symptoms and make sure it's safe and appropriate to prescribe ED medication. They'll then use your answers to diagnose your condition and create a bespoke treatment plan just for you. That's why it's important to be honest and accurate (like most things in life, really). Sometimes our Mosh health practitioner will advise blood or other tests or refer you to visit a health practitione in person, particularly if it appears there may be some underlying medical condition causing the ED.
The consult starts with a short online questionnaire followed by a private chat with a certified Aussie health practitioner. You’ll answer a few health-related questions to help them understand your situation, and if medically appropriate, they’ll recommend a personalised treatment plan. There’s no awkward face-to-face convo, no forced video call, and everything happens online at your own pace.
Not at all. Mosh is entirely online and 100% private. You don’t need to take your pants off, or even show your face. It's just a discreet call with a practitioner who’s here to help.
Australian regulations mean we're not allowed to publicly name prescription medications online. That’s why you won’t see specific drug names listed here.
But don’t worry. If there’s a treatment you’ve heard of or are interested in, there’s a very good chance we can offer it. Once you complete a short online consult, a doctor or nurse practitioner will assess your needs and prescribe the most appropriate option for you.
